One thing that never ceases to amaze is the number of actors known primarily for saving the world in a tiny outfit who are real-life feminists. When faced with playing yet another melon-breasted bad girl in a cat suit (because what other roles are available?), they must swallow their pride and say, “I’m only doing this to pay my bills.”

Such attitudes are more popularly associated with porn, where participation is usually perceived as a means to an end. In fact, gay porn is now so popular among women that straight men can now make more money performing in that subgenre than they can in hetero porn.

When asked why he chose not to make gay porn, James Deen replied that he’d never felt pressured to do something he didn’t like. If other straight performers chose that path, that was their decision, but it wasn’t for him and he wouldn’t do something he didn’t want to.
