10 Things Justice League Can Learn From Wonder Woman

2. The Plot Can Take Its Time

Wonder Woman made the most of its 141-minute run-time by having faith that audiences would get invested in a rather lengthy origin story, and it absolutely paid off, such that when Diana finally assaults No Man's Land in her iconic garb, everyone actually cared.

Conversely, Batman v Superman in particular felt incredibly bloated, confused and messy, so hopefully Justice League's apparently simpler narrative will allow it to take a little more time working through its plot and characters, rather than rushing from beat to beat.

This particularly pertains to the re-introduction of Superman, which will hopefully be saved for the second half of the movie or maybe even the third act itself, rather than a nervous Warner Bros. insisting that he needs to be revived in the first 40-or-so minutes to keep people interested.

Wonder Woman proved that a compelling story will hold the attention of viewers even if it's in no rush to get to the meat of the matter, and Justice League would do well to follow the same mantra.
