10 Things Justice League Can Learn From Wonder Woman

3. It Should Be (Mostly) Standalone

Wonder Woman essentially being a standalone movie was so incredibly refreshing, especially after the hilariously on-the-nose Justice League set-ups that appeared in Batman v Superman.

Wonder Woman was instead a solo origin story that didn't feel the need to be an overt advertisement for coming attractions, a surprising move given how much is staked on the upcoming movie.

Justice League can't inherently be a completely standalone film because it will almost certainly end with the introduction of Darkseid for Justice League 2, but it can still exercise some restraint by not constantly nodding to other upcoming DCEU movies.

Considering how much the film already has to juggle, it absolutely doesn't need to overtly hint at the planned solo movies for the various Justice League members on top of it all.

Warner Bros. needs to focus first and foremost on telling one good story, because if Justice League isn't a big success, it would put many of those planned solo movies in doubt anyway, especially Cyborg and Green Lantern.
