10 Things Learned From Re-Watching Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

5. The Reshoot Obi-Wan Hair Is More Distracting Than Ever

For those somehow unaware at this point, even after Ewan McGregor himself has openly talked about it over the years (via Entertainment Weekly), the reshoots for Episode I came at a pretty bad time for the Obi-Wan Kenobi actor, with the star being forced into a wig due to cutting his locks for another project.

While McGregor, Lucas and co. were likely hoping they could get away with it without anyone clocking the fake hair, that didn't happen.

And honestly, it stands out like an even sorer thumb during the version of the film that was beamed into theatres across May the 4th weekend, particularly during Obi-Wan's conversation with Qui-Gon about the latter thinking the former will become "a great Jedi Knight" on Naboo.

Worst hair in movie history? Possibly.
