10 Things We Learned From Marvel's 'Assembling A Universe'

4. It's Still Too Early To Talk About Ant-Man

Phase Three kicks off the same Summer that the Age of Ultron will reign, and it's already a lock that Ant Man will be the property to start things off. So naturally there'd be a slight mention involving the already developing next step, right? Wrong. Unless you count a small flash of Edgar Wright at Comic Con, there was no mention of the rapidly developing new property that could use all of the public exposure it could get. Even if they just showed the test footage everyone's seen, with a couple remarks from Wright, that would have been passable. Throw in some kind words from stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, and you could have carried the message that Marvel is now in the two-movies-a-year business. By showing how the next step in the line is always in development, Marvel could have driven home the point that they've truly arrived. At the very least, fans would have taken to the Internet and helped build buzz for the second ranking property in need of an image boost.
