10 Things Marvel Wants You To Forget About The MCU

2. The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk. Period. Just forget the whole movie ever happened because clearly Marvel wants you to. And this is not because they decided to replace Edward Norton with Mark Ruffalo. That's fine. This is because of the many plot points that are introduced and then cast aside, never to be mentioned again. What happened to Betty Ross? Bruce and Betty's relationship is compelling - it's right up there with Tony and Pepper and light-years ahead of Thor and Jane. Yet she disappears at the end of the film and never returns. Couldn't there at least get a quick scene in The Avengers of Banner looking at a photo of her? Or Nick Fury telling Bruce that she is okay? Anything? Then there is the Abomination. What the hell happened to him? The last you saw of him he was winded after his fight with Hulk. If you watch the scene closely, you'll see he isn't even unconscious after the fight. That means Hulk just left Betty, General Ross, and a few soldiers to clean up his mess. Did they carry the Abomination off to jail? Was he cured? If so, how? And what about Samuel Sterns? You see the beginning of his transformation into The Leader, and then never see him again. Have more questions about The Incredible Hulk? Well forget them. Marvel wants you to.

Yes, my last name is pronounced exactly as it's spelled. Just like "going to the store". ;) I am an aspiring writer currently working on my first novel, which is GOING to be awesome once it's published. (See what I did there?) I love reading, am a HUGE film buff (who welcomes all trivia challenges), and never miss a New York Giants football game. I'm an open book so if there is anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask.
