4. The Movies Get Away From The Avengers

So far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, everything has been produced with the intention of putting the Avengers together and preparing for storylines that will involve the Avengers in the future. Even the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, for example, will no doubt revolve around an Infinity Stone that Thanos will ultimately use in a future Avengers movie. And, at this stage, there's nothing wrong with everything being Avengers-focused - but it can't go on forever. There's a LOT more to the Marvel universe than the Avengers and not everything that occurs within it has something to do with them. The Inhumans, for example, are a very interesting group of characters who could be brought in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe without interacting with the Avengers in any way - and they're just one of many different factions who could function on screen completely separately to the current crop of heroes. Again, to reiterate, the Avengers are great and seeing the universe built around them at the moment in the lead up to their final battle (likely with Thanos wielding the Infinity Gauntlet) is great - it's just that we'll undoubtedly get bored of them eventually.
