3. The MCU Wins The Rights To Other Characters

As we've stressed all too often before, this is a million miles away at the moment. But what better way to refresh the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future when it starts to go stale than to see Marvel finally strike a deal to bring the likes of Spider-Man over? Spider-Man and the X-Men are extraordinarily popular and successful movie franchises in their own right - as is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, of course - so to have any combination of the three would make box office history. Of that there is surely no doubt. Not only that, but fans would go absolutely crazy to see, for example, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man or Hugh Jackman's Wolverine teaming up with Chris Hemsworth's Thor et al. It would be incredibly hard to explain, but the concept of alternate realities merging isn't unheard of in comics, so it wouldn't be impossible either. And we'd like to think that it's inevitable (even if it does take years to actually happen).
