One of the more left-field casting choices for Suicide Squad is accompanied by one of the more left-field choices for a character to round out the team. Cara Delevingne is primarily a model, who has worked with some of the biggest and best names in fashion, only ever dipping her toe into the world of acting with small roles in the likes of Anna Karenina. She has starring roles coming up in John Green adaptation Paper Towns and unnecessary JM Barrie reboot Pan (erm, as a mermaid), so Suicide Squad will be her first big part. It's sort of impossible to gauge how good she'll be in it, especially when she's playing as obscure a character as Enchantress, a villain who uses magical powers to get by. Enchantress was actually a part of the classic Suicide Squad line up John Ostrander introduced in the eighties miniseries Legends, but that group was quickly dismissed. Now, the rest of the group is still patently ridiculous it includes a crazy lady dressed as a clown and a dude with a cybernetic eye, after all but they're still pretty grounded. They're all still regular human beings who could exist in the real world, after a fashion. Taking its cues from Man Of Steel, the DC Cinematic Universe looks to be trying to be a little more grounded and yet Enchantress's whole deal is she's basically a superpowered witch, who casts spells and everything. How she'll fit into the Squad is anybody's guess.
