10 Things You Need To Know About Terminator: Genisys

7. Sarah Connor Is Raised By The Terminator

One of the most interesting parts of the first trailer for Genisys has the T-800 carrying off a young (child) Sarah Connor in a protective fashion. It opens up a world of possibilities as far as plot is concerned, and in all honesty, might have made a better movie had the producers stuck with a young Sarah/T-800 combo as opposed to jumping all over the timeline. That said, it's not the direction the film went, but it does help explain why Sarah Connor is already self-confident and highly trained by the time Kyle Reese shows up in what is presumably 1984. She'll have had the benefit of years of training under the T-800. Lets just hope she doesn't learn how to be human from him. According to Entertainment Weekly's look at the film, the young Sarah refers to him as "pops" - and he's essentially the most deadly babysitter in history.
