10 Things You Need To Know About Tim Burton's Superman Lives

9. Batman Might Have Made A Cameo

Believe it or not, Warner Bros. had the earliest glimmerings of a Shared Cinematic Universe a good twenty years before Marvel had even begun to consider such a thing.

Joel Schumacher's aborted third Batman film would've connected to Burton's first two, totally different takes on the Dark Knight by attempting to coax Jack Nicholson back for a cameo as The Joker.

Superman Lives would've taken it a step further, with Burton allegedly eager to bring his old mucker Michael Keaton in for a brief appearance, either in his civvies as Bruce Wayne or else as Batman himself.

Could even the largest multiplex have been able to hold the twin titanic personalities (and broad acting styles) of Keaton as Batman and Cage as Superman?
