2. Make The Showdown A Fair Fight

People can argue Batman's case all they want but, the fact is, a fight between Batman and Superman simply isn't fair - not in any media. Superman is infinitely more powerful than Batman. Movie depictions of the character are generally weaker than the comic book incarnations, but Superman has taken bullets to the eye without flinching and lifted islands made of the material that weakens him on film. In no, way, shape or form should be ever presented as someone with whom Batman can tangle physically - and we've already seen from Man of Steel that Henry Cavill's portrayal is that of a very powerful hero. If the fight was bloodlusted, Superman should, in theory, be able to react before Batman can think and turn him in to a bloody mist and, even he was to just stand still and let Batman wail on him, the only things getting hurt would be Batman's fists and pride. Therefore, there absolutely needs to be a leveller - and we're sure there will be. Whether Batman is rocking the Kryptonite or wearing some sort of power armour, he needs something to bring Superman down to his level or push him up to Superman's level because, simply put, if it's a straight up fight between the pair and Superman doesn't simply knock Batman out in the first nanosecond by flicking him with his little finger, something is drastically wrong.
