7. Thanos Kills Millions With The Infinity Gauntlet
Once Thanos eventually gets his hands on all six Infinity Stones, he'll place them in the Infinity Gauntlet and possess the absolute power he's been pursing since, well, forever.
Considering how long this has been building, Thanos needs to perform a demonstration of the gauntlet's massive power, and what better than to invade Earth and cause a massive catastrophe that kills millions?
This would be particularly shocking considering how few civilians have died in the MCU's various catastrophes so far: Joss Whedon in particular has been very careful to show the Avengers saving generic cityfolk to give the impression that most of them are OK.
How Likely Is It?: Not massively, if only because these are Disney movies aimed at fairly young audiences for the most part, and tonally it might just be a little extreme for that kind of crowd.
But it's not impossible either: plenty of PG-13 movies employ this kind of destruction, and it would be a suitably shocking introduction to Thanos' reign of terror. 4/10
