10 Things The MCU Needs To Do With The Fantastic Four
1. Save Doctor Doom For Later Entries
You should never lead with your best villain first, as insane as that advice may sound.
Doctor Doom is one of the greatest villains the Marvel universe has ever known, and as such, is a villain you build up to, not one you lead with.
There are plenty of other villains in the FF universe who make a better "first movie" villain. Hell the best choice for that could be either the Mole-Man (which would make an awesome homage to the team's inaugural issue) or the Puppetmaster, which would segue nicely into introducing Alicia Masters.
The point here is that there are plenty of other villains to choose from to start off the trilogy with that AREN'T Doctor Doom. By all means build up Doctor Doom's eventual appearance throughout the trilogy, but Victor Von Doom should be considered the grand finale, not the opening act. That is how you blow the whole thing right out the gate. It's like going to space: once you do, everything just feels like a step back.
