10 Things The MCU Needs To Do With The Fantastic Four
7. Have Reed And Sue Start Off Married
The Fantastic Four being a dysfunctional family of superheroes instead of just being a bunch of friends hanging out together was the whole appeal of the original comics. It not only explained why these disparate personalities were so drawn to each other, but it also made for a more intimate dynamic between the four leads.
It took way too damn long for Stan and Jack to pull the trigger on going all the way with the concept and just making them married in the comics. Frankly, the movies should not wait nearly as long to do the same.
There is genuinely no reason to not just have Reed and Sue start the movie already happily married. Not just because everyone already sees them as the old married couple of the Marvel universe, but also because having our two leads already be in a relationship with at least of year of being married under their belts would be a unique take on a romantic sub plot for an MCU film.
