10 More Worthwhile Things The Margaret Thatcher Funeral Could Have Funded

3. Finish Star Wars 1313

Star Wars 1313 It was a pretty devastating blow to hear at the start of this month that LucasArts was being closed down for internal development as part of Disney's acquisition of the company, meaning that all video game projects were immediately halted, specifically the much-anticipated Star Wars 1313, widely expected to be one of the major next-generation titles releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720. The thing is, going by the fantastic demo videos out there - that show off the absolutely stunning graphics, easily among the best I've ever seen - the game is pretty damn far into development, so surely it wouldn't cost a lot to just get the thing finished? £10m could get a lot done; bring all the developers back and just get them to finish the damn thing, as long as Disney will allow it (which I'm guessing they won't). If so much money, time and effort has been poured into development, it seems like such a waste to abandon it seemingly so close to the finish line. If not, this'll be one of the major missed opportunities in recent gaming lore.
