10 Things To Expect From Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4

2. No More Nick Fury

Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury has functioned as the connective tissue of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, linking the various properties together and bringing an entertaining presence to any movie he appeared in.

However, with Infinity War seeing so many different areas of the MCU being hurled together, Fury's role will likely begin to feel less plausible and, honestly, at this point pretty unnecessary.

Plus, Jackson will be in his early seventies by the time Phase 4 kicks off, at which point he may not seem quite so convincing as the grizzled bada**, even if he hardly looks his age.

Basically, don't be shocked if he's one of Thanos' many presumed casualties in one of the next two Avengers movies, leaving the team to fend for themselves for Phase 4 and beyond.
