10 Things To Expect From Upcoming DCEU Movies
5. Cyborg's Solo Movie Becomes A Team-Up Movie
With the teething problems the DCEU has suffered through to date, it's fair to say that their sprawling slate of planned movies is ambitious, or in less polite terms, rather optimistic.
While Aquaman is already deep into shooting and Shazam! is starting to come together, it's harder to believe that 2020's planned Cyborg solo movie is actually going to happen, at least in its existing form.
Considering the rather mixed reception to the character from Justice League's marketing and reports that he's been lightened up significantly in re-shoots, it's hard to believe that Warner Bros. will risk blowing $100+ million by shooting a standalone Cyborg film within the next two years.
What's much more likely is that Cyborg will be transformed into a team-up film co-starring another Justice League member, probably The Flash, reducing the risk by allowing another, more popular character to shoulder some of the burden.
If a truly solo Cyborg film does indeed get released in three years' time, it would be a huge, huge shock.
