10 Things To Expect From Upcoming DCEU Movies

6. More Female Superheroes

Wonder Woman proved to every major movie studio the obvious truth that, yes, people do want to watch female superhero movies. Shocking.

With the film being a stonking critical and commercial success, it's inevitable that Warner Bros. and other studios are going to start commissioning a ton of female-led comic book flicks.

Wonder Woman 2 is already penciled in for 2019, and Gotham City Sirens and Batgirl are also in the works, but you can count on even more female superhero origin stories getting the greenlight over the next few years.

What about Black Canary, female Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, Starfire and more conventional picks like Supergirl and Catwoman?

These are just a few examples, but there's a huge pool to draw from, and this could be a major way for the DCEU to get one up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which embarrassingly still hasn't launched a single female superhero film in almost a decade.
