10 Things We Don't Want To See In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

8. Odin's Death

Odin is already showing signs of old age and physical deterioration in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and we've only seen him twice. He was vulnerable in the first Thor movie - needing his Odinsleep and looking tired after a brief physical altercation with the Frost Giants of Jotunheim - and he was somehow overthrown off-screen by Loki in the Thor sequel. This is a far cry from the galaxy-destroying beast of a warrior in the comic books. Given Anthony Hopkins' age and the signs we've been given in Odin's appearance so far, we think Odin will end up being killed off prior to showing what he can really do. He has been portrayed well by Hopkins as a character, but he has been vastly under-used as a warrior and, while we'd love to see him step up to the plate to help combat Thanos when the Mad Titan wields the Infinity Gauntlet, we think it's far more likely that he'll fizzle out in a less glorious manner prior to that ever getting a chance to happen.
