10 Things We Learned From Mark Hamill At Star Wars Celebration Europe
10. He Thinks Chewie Should Have Got A Medal Too
It wasn’t just the future that was discussed at the panel - Hamill had plenty of cool anecdotes from the set of the originals.
When asked what his favourite scenes to shoot were the rope swing across the Death Star (for how real it was) and the cantina (for how it showed the full scope of the world), which likely furthers that the first film was also the most fun to make (at least once he understood it - when auditioning he thought it was a parody).
Perhaps the nicest though, was Hamill saying that he too thinks that Chewie should have got a medal at the end of A New Hope, citing that we were. Wonder what he thinks about him not getting a hug in The Force Awakens.
