10. It Wasn't Meant To Be Too Widely Seen
The trailer is no longer available for viewing: it was only showing during the four-day weekend of Jurassic World's initial release. By Monday, theaters were back to devoting that time to other upcoming movies like Terminator: Genisys and Minions. And it only showed in IMAX theaters. This seems to say that it was designed for the hardcore audience, the sort likely to analyze movies in great detail. You may feel you've gotten everything you need to know about the film from the trailers and TV spots, and maybe you have, if you're more interested in things like high concepts and pull quotes than ineffable stuff like cinematography and a film's aesthetic. But it's easy to see, in retrospect, why Marvel chose this particular venue to release its biggest promotion. The visual appeal of the movie is at its clearest, and we get a similarly detailed view of the characters and story.
