5. Korg Is The First Person Thor Recruits On His New Quest

Everybody loves Korg. How could they possibly not? The friendly hunk of rock has gone on to become one of the most beloved faces of the Thor franchise. And for good reason. With his lackadaisical approach to all problems, and a genuine warmth resonating from every word he speaks, Taika Waititi has brought to life an absolute joy-ball of a character.

Unsurprisingly, the trailer seemed to confirm Korg as the first person Thor recruits when setting off on his new quest. Here we see the two standing side by side, as an ominous atmosphere builds all around them. Korg was also the person beside Thor in the snowy peak scene discussed earlier.

While the others do appear, the presentation didn’t exactly indicate them joining arms with Thor just yet. The fact that Korg is the first of his former allies, seen reuniting with Thor in the trailers, all but confirms the Kronan as the first person Thor turns to.
