Ok not quite, but the actor found out about his character's demise whilst on a bullet train in Japan.

The brothers were reading the books simultaneously whilst on tour and keeping what they read a secret from each other. James reached the part where Fred died whilst aboard a train just as a ticket inspector was approaching. The actor joked to the crowd saying that he brushed off the ticket inspector saying "mate, I've just died".

James recalled just how surprised he was at his own reaction to the news, not realising just how attached he had become to the character of Fred.

Tena also remembered how she blew off plans to go see a friend's performance to read the Deathly Hallows instead. Although she was sad to hear of Tonks death she cooly said "I was a bit sad I died, but people die in wars, it happens".

Stanislav was happy to see Viktor Krum in the Half Blood Prince but despite filming the part his scene was cut. He lamented that he "kind of died also, in a way".
