10 Things We Want To See In Peter Jackson's Upcoming Beatles Documentary

1. Detailed Rooftop Performance

It has practically gone down in legend how the Beatles' performance on the rooftop of Apple Corps was the last public performance they had ever done. The band's initial ideas for their final concert ranged from being in the middle of the ocean to a prison, but ending it on the rooftop of their new headquarters seemed like the perfect bittersweet ending for the group.

However, the actual footage that we have of the concert seems a lot more scattered than casual fans may have thought. Though we have seen bits and pieces on various other documentaries, it would be something special to see the entire rooftop concert from start to finish to close out the film. There has even been interviews about the day of the concert, with Lennon vehemently against the idea and the band arguing for hours.

According to Beatles historians, the arguments ended with Lennon saying "Are we going to do this?" and the band sauntering up the steps to play their last gig. Given the fraught tension between each of the band members, this could be the final apex of the film where everyone leaves their inhibitions at the door and make musical history once they reach the top of the stairs.
