7. The Film Was Almost Called “Scared Sheetless”

When the film was originally in production, it had different being juggled around. One of these names was “House Ghosts”, which seemed to be the highest contender.

As a joke one day, Burton suggested that the film should be called, “Scared Sheetless”. And boy was he scared sheetless when the production company actually almost used the title.

They eventually settled on Beetlejuice due to the plot mostly revolving around this titular character.
