2. She Was Almost Snow White In Snow White & The Huntsman
Believe it or not, but at a time when Alicia Vikander's career was not going particularly well (say, in 2011), she found herself in a curious position. After months of trying to get roles in film (and hearing nothing back at all from any casting folk), Universal phoned her up with some super exciting news. Executives at the studio told Vikander that they wanted to send her to Los Angeles to read for the part of Snow White in an upcoming blockbuster. "I was on the phone crying at a Starbucks, Vikander said of the moment. People thought I was having a breakup with my boyfriend! I said, 'No - its good news! Im going to have a career!" She went to L.A., of course, but she didn't get the part (Kristen Stewart did); had she nabbed it, though, her career might have been a totally different animal indeed.
