10. She Trained At The Royal Swedish Ballet School - For Nine Years
Despite her standing as an actress of the highest order, Vikander actually started out training to be a dancer. She attended the prestigious Royal Swedish Ballet School from age 9 until she was 18, and moved away from home to live alone when she just 15 years old. Her dreams of dance glory were nipped in the bud after she sustained a few pesky injuries, however. She then decided - as a result - to pursue acting instead. Still, she claims that upon doing so she felt a connection to acting that she never felt for dancing. "When I did , I realised that I had a strong passion that was beyond what I felt for dancing," she explained in an interview with The Telegraph. Fair enough!
