Anna Kendrick may be fast approaching her 30th birthday and might only have become instantly recognisable off the back of Pitch Perfect's huge success back in 2012, but she's actually being doing her thing for ages. That's to say, Kendrick was appearing in freakin' Broadway musicals as young as 12-years-old, and was even nominated for a Tony Award for her turn in High Society. Which, at 12, made her the second-youngest person to ever have been nominated for a Tony at the time. And get this: according to her drama teacher, she never really mentioned her successes to anyone at school. "Anna was a very modest young woman," said teacher revealed. "Some kids who achieve will try to lord it over others. But Anna, who walked in with a Broadway show and commercials, never talked about it." Now that's cool.
