The original Marvel Black Widow, Claire Voyant, who bore no relation to Natasha. However, in the late 90s Yelena Belova was introduced as a potential successor to Romanoff. Belova was trained by the same organisation as Natasha and was activated with the specific purpose of taking on the Black Widow mantle. She sought out Black Widow in order to kill her and take her place but Natasha, realising they'd been subjected to the same brainwashing tactics, tried to convince her to leave her mission behind. It eventually worked and Yelena retired to Cuba where she thrived as a businesswoman. She has appeared in several stories since, including being placed in stasis for a period of time due to an overly complicated plot involving everyone pretending to be someone else. It remains to be seen if she'll show up in any of the Marvel movies.
