9. On His Passion For Hunting: "I Have Great Respect For The Animals I Kill"
One of the more controversial aspects of Chris Pratt's personal life to have come up in recent interviews is his passion for hunting and impressive collection of guns, which the more animal rights-inclined fans out there took serious objection to. While a number of people took to the internet to abuse Chris Pratt for his passtime, the actor stood by his words, saying that he has "a great deal of respect for the animals that I kill and I feel remorse and all of the emotions that come with it. The thing inside me that drives me to go out and hunt is very animal. But the remorse, emotion and respect I feel, and the closeness to God that I feel when Im out there, is my humanity." There have been a number of high profile incidents about hunting for pleasure, but Pratt insists that for him this isn't the case - access to high quality, untampered fresh meat is his reason for killing animals.
