That particular title belongs to Jennifer Love Hewitt - the American movie star, television star and singer whose acting credits include movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Garfield: The Movie, as well as television shows like Party of Five and Ghost Whisperer. Love Hewitt actually turned down the opportunity to play Robin Scherbatsky outright, which opened the door for Smulders to come in and make it her own - which she certainly did without any shadow of a doubt - and it enabled her to become the potentially huge star that she is today.
