10 Things You Didn't Know About George Clooney

1. He Cut His Honeymoon Short To Promote Tomorrowland

No sooner was the ring on the finger and George Clooney had whisked his new bride off on the honeymoon than the phone rings, calling him away from his post nuptial shenanigans in order to fly to New York to attend ComicCon to promote Tomorrowland. You can say what you like about Hollywood stars but they don't get to have millions in the bank without putting their career over everything else, and even a honeymoon isn't sacred. Speaking to Graham Norton, Clooney said, "First I had to explain that to my wife, which didn't play well. And then the whole idea of spending part of your honeymoon with people dressed up like Captain Kirk and Star Wars characters somehow wasn't easy to explain to my new bride." Whether the trip was worth it or not only Clooney can decide - the early reception to Tomorrowland has been a mixed bag, with some saying it's the first dud in director Brad Bird's otherwise exceptional filmography. If that turns out to be the case, there's always Hail, Caesar! to look forward to. What other facts about George Clooney do you know? Why not share them with us in the comments?
