Sure, Elba already has a significant fan following both online and off (although on is where you tend to get the most extreme reactions, especially when he's throwing out tweets like this to his millions of followers), with the die hard obsessives of his specific work like Pacific Rim, Luther and The Wire alongside people who just love the man himself. Which is all well and good, but it also pays to have friends in high places. And Idris Elba has a fan in the highest place possible. Except for, like, god and stuff.
