3. He's Going To Play Mike Tyson

The movie will be written by Terrence Winter and directed by Martin Scorsese. Interestingly, Foxx revealed recently that he'll be playing both the old and the young Mike Tyson. He said they were thinking about who they would cast as the young Tyson, but that with new technology which Scorsese has perfected, he'll be able to play a young version of the character as well. In a radio interview, Foxx described the opening scene of the movie in a pretty incredible way, starting on Mike Tyson and the last fight where he was knocked out and then flashing back to him as a young man. We get a bit more of his Tyson voice in that clip, which sounds pretty spot on. The actor should be pretty convincing in the role, and apparently last year when he had makeup artists make him look like Mike Tyson, people were actually coming up and asking for autographs thinking it was really him.
