4. The Film Had Vastly Different Names Around The World!
Before the film took the rhyming ode to the 1938 Louis Armstrong song Jeepers Creepers as it's name, the working title was Here Comes the Boogeyman. The studio didn't like the title Jeepers Creepers and wanted it changed but Victor Salva's friend Francis Ford Coppola helped him to stand up for his original vision.
However, it seems that other countries that either didn't understand the song reference, or the rhyme didn't work in translation so they made their own infinitely different titles up for the film!
