10 Things You Didn't Know About Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2
3. Butch's Honda Civic From Pulp Fiction Appears In Vol. 2
If you've seen Pulp Fiction, then you'll know which car we're on about - it's the one Butch uses to ram Marsellus Wallace to the ground after a chance meeting at a pedestrian crossing. One can only assume that the Kill Bill films are set before Pulp Fiction in the Tarantinoverse though, because the car appears to be in perfect working order when it appears in the former films. You could suggest Butch had the car repaired, but considering it was completely totalled in Pulp Fiction, that seems unlikely. And besides, why would you want to spend money on repairing a Honda Civic in the first place? The third choice is obviously the correct answer: Butch's Civic appears in the parking lot of Budd's workplace as pure fan service. Yes, when Budd bothers to turn up for work at a crappy, run-down bar, Butch's car can be seen in the parking lot. Unfortunately, Butch himself isn't present inside the establishment. He could have been on the bog when Budd entered, but it's a shame Bruce Willis didn't actually appear on-screen as the character - it could have been one of the more memorable crossovers in cinema.
