10 Things You Didn't Know About Leonardo DiCaprio

4. He Owns An Island Off The Coast Of Belize

Owning an island is something that everybody has probably dreamed of doing at one time or another, either because the very act of owning an island goes hand-in-hand with being super rich, or because "getting away from it all" is inherently appealing (at least, now and again).

It's also the kind of dream that almost nobody in the world can realise - unless your name is Leonardo DiCaprio, of course, who - because his life isn't awesome enough - bought a little island off of the coast of Belize in 2005, presumably so he could say "I have an island off of the coast of Belize" in order to impress all those super models. It cost $1.75 million, which doesn't seem too bad, as far as islands go.

The island is called "Blackadore Caye," and DiCaprio plans to one day develop it into an environmentally-resort. Again, probably in order to impress all those super models.
