While her movie counterpart clearly struggled to embrace her true form in First Class, covering up her body as much as possible and rarely returning to her natural form, she eventually embraces her identity as 'Mutant and proud.' This is shift in attitude becomes obvious as she uses her powers more freely and chooses her natural blue form over her usual disguise. However, unlike her movie counterpart, who embraces her natural blue-skinned form thanks to the influence of Magneto, the comic book character cannot stand her appearance. Whether this is a result of some previous trauma is unknown. It has been established, though, that Mystique refuses to look at herself in the mirror unless she is in disguise.
With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
