10 Things You Learn Rewatching Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers (1995)

1. In Summary

Halloween 6 Mask
Miramax

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is the first genuinely terrible installment in the franchise. From the writing, to the music, to the direction, to the editing. Any way you look at it, this one's a stinker.

But at the same time, I feel compelled to recommend it. It is so bafflingly awful-yet-watchable in a Mystery Science Theater kind of way that I often couldn't believe my own eyes.

Haddonfield High Superlatives:

Best Kill: Michael murdering the entirety of the Cult of Thorn in the operating room, simply because it is at least unintentionally fulfilling to watch this idiotic plot get literally torn to shreds.

Funniest Scene: This one. Do yourself a favor and watch it one more time.

Biggest Dick of a Character: John Strode. Undoubtedly.

How Awful of a Town is Haddonfield?: 10 out of 10 (has banned Halloween because it fears Michael yet doesn't believe anyone about him actually returning, full of terrible teenagers, secretly the home-base of a cult)

Scream Queen Award: Paul 'Stephen' Rudd absolutely steals the show. Bravo, sir.
