10 Things You Need To Know About Batman Vs Superman

9. Jesse Eisenberg Is Lex Luthor, But Will We See Any Other Villains?

That Jesse Eisenberg has been cast as Lex Luthor has been known for a while now (it was one of the first casting decisions we heard about), but is rather crucial to the film: with so much going on on-screen, and such a large cast of superheroes appearing, the villain in this piece has to work. There's no room for failure, as there's really no room for multiple villains, or arguably enough screen time the develop one slowly. That said, there have been rumours that Brainiac is also involved, in a behind-the-scenes capacity, possibly fuelling the conflict between Batman and Superman. On the Batman side, Latino Review suggested that Victor Zsazs might make an appearance. The Batman side of things has been somewhat overshadowed by the Superman mythos thus far, so Zsazs is an interesting rumour. He made a small cameo in the Nolan Batman series, and if he is in Dawn of Justice, it will likely be a small role. Getting back to Luthor - Eisenberg is best known for appearing in The Social Network and Zombieland. He's a solid actor, but this will be new territory for him. Will he make us believe it's Lex Luthor we're seeing on screen - or will we be looking at "that guy from The Social Network" when we watch the film?
