10 Things You Need To Know About Captain America: Civil War

8. Crossbones Vs. Captain America

Marvel Comics

Speaking of Crossbones, he was spotted in the only set photos from the movie to have so far found their way online.

In a battle which appears to be taking place in Africa somewhere (Wakanda seems like a fairly strong possibility given Black Panther's involvement), Captain America, The Falcon, Black Widow, and the Scarlet Witch could all be seen fighting his men.

It was Steve Rogers who came to blows with Crossbow though, and the villain appeared to be wearing a special pair of gauntlets to augment his strength.

It's hardly a spoiler to say that Captain America emerges victorious after this nasty looking scrap, and with Frank Grillo shortly after Tweeting out that he had finishing working on the movie, it doesn't appear as if he'll have a huge role. Who knows how much work he did in studio beforehand though, so what could be seen in set photos may not be an accurate representation of how much Crossbones factors into things.

In the comics, Crossbones is the one who assassinates Captain America once the war is over, so he'll be well worth keeping an eye on regardless.
