2. Tom Cruise Is Doing More Insane Stunts
If you thought that Tom Cruise dangling from the side of the world's tallest building (the Burj Khalifa in Dubai) in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol was amazing, then prepare to once again be astounded by what the now 52 year old actor is getting up to in Mission: Impossible 5. Set photos snapped last year showed Cruise attached to the side of a place - with only a wire saving him from falling - at an amazing height of over 5000 feet in the air. This will no doubt be the money shot in the trailer and a key sequence in the film itself. Topping that climb in the last movie was always going to be a challenge, but depending on how this plays out, Cruise and McQuarrie may have succeeded in doing so! Not shooting this in IMAX was a big mistake, but that will make it no less impressive to watch. The actor has been spotted performing many more of his own stunts during production too.
