It has been mentioned that Shazam has been a part of the Justice League already, but the character has a rather interesting supporting cast as well. As already known, Billy Batson is a foster kid living in a foster home in Philadelphia. In the comics, he often fights evil as a member of a superhero team known as the Marvel Family, all of whom are his foster brothers and sisters given an adult appearance, similar to the way his magical powers turn him into Shazam. The Marvel Family, whos name would obviously be different, most likely the Shazam Family, is made up of Shazam, Mary aka Mary Marvel, Freddy aka Captain Marvel Jr, Eugene, Pedro and Daria. Given the comments from Toby Emmerich, it can be assumed that the film is looking to be a lot lighter and funnier than the fare already been given in Man of Steel, as well as the doom and gloom that is likely to surround the DC Cinematic Universe as a whole, because Shazam himself is like that. Frankly, a youthful and fun filled cast would be interesting to see should DC decide to make the gamble. Are there any interesting facts that weve left out of this list?
