8. Hughes And Broderick Fought
According to Matthew Broderick, he wasn't always as sweet as he appeared onscreen. Back when he was filming Ferris Bueller's Day Off, he hated when Hughes would tell him how to say his lines or what facial expressions to make. Instead of holding back his feelings, he would blatantly tell Hughes how he felt about the situation. There was one occasion where Broderick got so frustrated that Hughes decided to just stop giving him pointers. However, that only lasted for a few scenes, because Broderick ended up giving in and telling Hughes that he actually wanted and valued his direction.
