10 Things You Only Notice Rewatching Snyder's DCEU Movies
1. One Hour Left
This detail only applies to the Ultimate Edition of the movie, but then it also makes sense that one of the hardest details to pull off is saved for the biggest fans. There’s a lot of criticism you can throw at Snyder’s time in the DCEU, but he always tried to do right by the fans.
When Lex Luthor sets his timer to one hour left, there’s exactly one hour left in the movie.
It’s such a nifty little detail, one which will have required such an intricate amount of planning to be able to get right; especially in the Ultimate Edition, which was supposed to be more of a ‘no holds barred’ sort deal.
We’ve no way of knowing if a similar sort of detail lies in the Justice League Snyder cut, nor even how complete it is. You can bet though that if - when? - the Snyder cut comes out, fans will watch in intricate detail to see if there’s any more Easter eggs to spot.
For now though, the Snyder cut remains the Holy Grail of superhero movie fandom.
