10 (At The Time) Unknown Actors Who Were In The Star Wars Prequels

8. Sofia Coppola (Saché The Handmaiden)

Today Sofia Coppola is regarded a very gifted filmmaker having directed films such as "The Virgin Suicides", "Lost in Translation" and "Marie Antoinette". Being the daughter of the maverick Francis Ford Coppola, it was only natural that her first flirts with the movie business would be with smaller acting roles in her father's films. As a mere infant, Sofia had the honor of portraying Michael Corleone's nephew in the iconic baptism-sequence of "The Godfather". She is also, infamously, remembered as the weakest link of "The Godfather, Part III" because of her part as Mary Corleone. As one of the best friends of her father's, it was only natural that George Lucas would employ Sofia as one of the Queen's handmaidens in "The Phantom Menace". She's very difficult to spot in the finished film, though.
