7. Bronagh Gallagher (Captain Maoi Madakor)

You may recognize the great Irish character actress Bronagh Gallagher from bit parts in films like "The Commitments", "Pulp Fiction", "Sherlock Holmes" and "Tamara Drewe". She may not be a household name, but she's on of those people that you must remember having seen somewhere. In "The Phantom Menace", Gallagher plays the Captain of the spaceship transporting Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi to their negotiation with the corrupted Trade Federation. She gets to say a couple of lines, before being blasted to death by a superlaser. Chronologically, Gallagher has the distinction of being the second person to speak within the entire "Star Wars"-saga. Only Liam Neeson beats her with one line. The bastard.
