10 (At The Time) Unknown Actors Who Were In The Star Wars Prequels

3. Marton Csokas (Poggle The Lesser)

This doesn't make any sense. I'm with you. That isn't Marton Csokas up there. Just some random corny-looking alien. Yes, his name is Poggle the Lesser, and he's the Geonosian tribal chief in "Attack of the Clones". But the truth is that this ill-conceived excuse of a computer animated second rate villain-henchman was voiced by actor Marton Csokas. What a waste of talent. Csokas is mostly remembered as the noble Lord Celeborn in "The Lord of the Rings". He has also been seen in mainstream films like "xXx" (in which his campy Russian villain was the definitive highlight), "Kingdom of Heaven", "Noah" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2". Why George Lucas would think of using the services of an accomplished actor like this, when all he needed was a series of silly alien grunts, is beyond me.
