10 Times Actors Were PISSED OFF At Film Premieres

6. Wilhelm Von Homburg Wasn't Told He Would Be Dubbed - Ghostbusters II

German actor Wilhelm von Homburg gave an intensely memorable performance in Ghostbusters II as the villainous Vigo the Carpathian, but did you know that Vigo's voice didn't actually belong to Homburg himself?

For reasons unknown, the legendary Max von Sydow was brought in to re-dub Vigo's lines, and watching the final movie, 99% of the audience would never even notice. There's no disparity between Homburg's face and Sydow's voice at all.

Unfortunately, though, the production didn't inform Homburg of this decision, and he only found out when he attended the premiere, causing him to angrily storm out of the screening as soon as he realised what had happened.

It's an especially sad story for Homburg as the actor felt that his split lip, which caused him to slur his words and is likely the reason for the re-dub, had prevented him from winning more work in the film industry.
